What is Alternating Current?

Alternating current is when the power transmitted is equal to the merchandise of the current and plus the voltage (assuming no section difference). High voltage transmission lines provide power from electric generation plants over long distances using alternating flow. This guide-flow electric power transmission systems contrast with the more common alternating-stream systems as a means that is more efficient for delivering electricity. Flexible alternating current (AC) or flexible alternating flow transmission system (FACTS) is a technique composed of static machinery used for the AC transmission of electrical energy. It uses a series inductance that happens in long transmission lines, and when a large stream current causes a giant voltage drop.
